FM Mattsson Mora Group updates with new inventory optimization

Continued cooperation between FM Mattsson Mora Group and Optilon, when reviewing both forecasting and inventory optimization.

FM Mattsson Mora Group are specialized in water taps and their products can be seen under trademarks such as Mora Armatur, Damixa and FM Mattsson. The high ambition to meet the needs of their customers by offering the right products and on time, requires streamlined service and a reliable safety stock, something FM Mattsson Mora Group wanted to improve. Both inventory management and forecasting were reviewed to meet the requirements while avoiding too much capital tied up in stock.

Inventory optimization automates major parts of the quantitative work and can bring a more effective overview of our wide product range which includes both end products and components. We will continue to offer excellent service for our customers, but with better knowledge of stock size and service level to provide for the various products,” says Stefan Pettersson, Logistics Director, FM Mattsson Mora Group.

The new solution is planned to be implemented before summer and FM Mattsson Mora Group estimates to go live by the end of September.
